Mexico: Benito Juárez International Airport of Mexico City

Mexico is an alluring country, situated at Pacific and Gulf Coastlines, between the America and Central American beaches. The country has distinct landscapes, deserts, forests, mountains and rivers. Mexico is well known for its ancient ruins and monuments along with pleasant weather, exotic food, art and culture, museums and pyramids. The country has excellent destinations to visit that ranked it 7th most favorite destination of tourism according to the World Trade Organization.

Mexico City is the capital city of Mexico which is a densely populated city and famous for its 13th century Aztec Temple and some of the other thoughtful monuments. The city is the biggest and largest city of Mexico with over 26 million population. The nights of this city are more brighten and thrilled as compared to days with number of restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs, and clubs. Among thousands of splendid structures of the capital city including old and new, The International Airport of Mexico City is a striking one.

The airport is officially known as AeropuertoInternacional Benito Juarez. The airport is the busiest airport of the capital city and 2nd busiest airport in Latin America in terms of passenger’s traffic. The airport is under the supervision of Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliaries which is owned by Government Corporation of Mexico, already running 22 other airports throughout the country. There are 27 domestic and international airlines which are serving this hot and high airport. Other than passenger’s airlines, the airport has also 17 cargo carriers. Being the hub of country’s largest national airline Aeromexico, now the airport has become a center of Sky Team which is an airline alliance, based at the World Trade center Schiphol in Netherlands.

The airport is handling more than 97,000 passengers from and to more than 100 destinations through this airport and with the passage of time, it is increasing the capacity demand swiftly. It is announced that a new airport will be built soon to replace this airport by the name of New Mexico City International airport. The Mexico City international airport is working with two terminals, commonly known as terminal 1 and terminal 2. Both terminals are separated from each other by the passage of runways. Metro and bus services are available to access the airport easily along with other modes of transport like rental cars, taxis, and shuttles. The other amenities served by the airport to its privileged customers are Hotels, restaurants, shopping mall, free wireless internet, car parking, airline lounges, conference halls, medical care and information desk. You can also book for Mexico City airport taxi for safe and reliable transportation.

Altogether, I would like to conclude that the Mexico city Airport is not only serving this sprawling capital city of Mexico but also be holding city dignity and pride as a most visited tourist destination in Latin America.
